Brand identity pricing packages
The cost of creating a brand identity can differ greatly. An agency's price range could be from $30,000 to $250,000, depending on their reputation and the project's extent. However, this level of investment isn't always necessary for every business. With my 15 years of experience as an independent designer, I offer the same high-quality design and expertise as an agency but at a more affordable price.
Here's the recommended pricing for clients who own small businesses.

-
A profile image and banner image for your social media accounts. Ready for you to upload so you’ll look consistent online.
-
Besides the basic elements, brands need a certain photography or illustration style, shapes, lines, custom patterns, or other elements that flesh out a visual system. We’ll choose 3 items relevant to you (e.g. social media posts, t-shirt, a package design, top section of a website, presentation cover, etc.) and mock them up to show how the theme would look in real life. Mockups are for inspiration; they can be made into templates or print-ready files as a separate project or add-on.
-
A multi-page document that lays out the strategy behind your brand: your purpose, origin story, personality keywords, brand archetype, and more. It also details your visual identity: rules and examples for putting together your logo, colors, fonts, imagery, and messaging so you’ll know how to create new materials going forward.

Name generation
If you have an in-house designer or freelancer, they can reference your brand style guide when making materials for you. Or I can create them, since I’ll know your brand inside and out. I can put together a package that includes any finished pieces you need. If you’d like to wait and create these down the road, book Design Days whenever you want to knock items off your list.
A note about websites:
Web design and development is a speciality in itself, so I recommend that clients hire a dedicated individual or firm for this. The firm can use the style and elements we develop in the Identity Package to create your site.
